Notre Dame lands 2027 4-star Florida linebacker Amarri Irvin

Notre Dame football has been on a heater in recruiting, and its now spanning multiple classes, with Wednesday seeing the latest top recruit commit to the Irish.

Florida linebacker Amarri Irvin picked Notre Dame over teams like Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon. The 6-foot and 220-pounder is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 236 overall prospect and the No. 14 player at the position.

Irvin went into detail with 247Sports Tom Loy on why the Irish (subscription required), as he said that “the people in the building, what they stand for, they standard they hold, the wya they play for each other, the brotherhood, that’s all something I want to be a part of.” This speaks directly to what head coach Marcus Freeman has done with the program, and Notre Dame is once again on the verge of making the College Football Playoff.
