No. 9 Notre Dame is fairly healthy going into the home finale at Syracuse, but the Fighting Irish will be without defensive back Tae Johnson.
Johnson had a pick-six for the Irish last week against Pittsburgh. He will be out with an injury to his left hand.
That’s not great news for an inexperienced secondary that was coming together, but hopefully veterans like Christian Gray and Leonard Moore can hold down the fort.
All other student-athletes on the two-deep will be available to play.
