Colts injury report: Daniel Jones, Sauce Gardner upgraded to full

After holding a walkthrough on Wednesday, the Indianapolis Colts were back on the practice field on Thursday.

Quarterback Daniel Jones (fibula), who was listed as limited on Wednesday, was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport would report that Jones is dealing with a fracture.

One source told Rapoport that Jones “looked good.” Another said to Rapoport that this is not an injury that Jones is concerned about.

Jones and Shane Steichen have both said that he will be playing in Sunday’s game against Houston.

On Wednesday, Jones discussed with local media the injury.

Along with Jones being upgraded to a full participant, so was cornerback Sauce Gardner (back) and defensive tackle Neville Gallimore (knee). Both were listed as limited on Wednesday.

In the Colts’ most recent game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Gardner and Zaire Franklin were the only two Colts defenders to play all 96 defensive snaps, according to PFF.

Gallimore played 39 defensive snaps on Sunday — the third-most among Colts’ defensive tackles.

Linebacker Jaylon Carlies was again a full participant. He was designated to return to practice last week from injured reserve and has been a full participant in all five practices up to this point.
