These are the 13 boys and girls wrestlers listed on the inaugural ballot of the 2025-26 Journal Star fans’ choice preseason player of the year. The players nominated are listed on the Journal Star’s players to watch list for the upcoming season.
Voting begins now and ends at noon, Friday, Nov. 28.
This vote has no bearing on who will be selected the Journal Star Wrestler of the Year or will make the annual all-area team, which are scheduled to be announced after the season.
