Pope Leo XIV bobbleheads arrive after historic election

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fall and Museum in Milkwaukee, Wisconsin, marked the election of the first pope from the United States in the history of the Roman Catholic Church with the introduction of the first bobbleheads of Pope Leo XIV.

The Pope Leo XIV bobbleheads join the museum’s more than 10,000 bobbleheads of international figures, celebrities, athletes, politicians and newsmakers.

The first Pope Leo XIV bobblehead commemorates the introduction of Pope Leo XIV on the Vatican balcony at St. Peter’s Square on May 8, 2025. It features Pope Leo XIV waving to the crowd wearing a traditional white cassock, red pellegrina, a red and gold stole, and a pectoral cross that he wore when he was introduced as the new Pope on the balcony at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.

The second Pope Leo XIV bobblehead features the smiling pontiff wearing a white cassock with attached pellegrina and girded with a fringed white fascia, a pectoral cross suspended from and gold cord and a white zucchetto. The figure is atop a circular white and gold base bearing his name.

Each bobblehead is individually numbered and only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. They cost $30 each, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. They’ll ship in November.

The museum’s co-founders are Rockford, Illinois, natives and Guilford High School graduates Phil Sklar and Brad Novak.

“We are thrilled to continue the tradition of bobbleheads celebrating the newest pope with the unveiling of these bobbleheads featuring Pope Leo XIV,” said Sklar, the museum’s CEO. “Bobblehead are the perfect way to show off your admiration for a given person, and with the excitement surrounding the first pope from North America, we know the Pope Leo XIV bobbleheads are going to be very popular.”

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is located at 170 S. 1st St. in Milwaukee. It opened to the public on Feb. 1, 2019.
