CANTON — The Fulton County Coroner has identified a man found dead in a residence Sept. 3 in Canton.
The man was identified as 70-year-old Canton resident David W. Kuntz, according to a release. Police responded to a call around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday regarding a body found in the 600 block of Baxter Court.
An autopsy will be performed Sept. 5, and the coroner’s office will release Kuntz’s cause and manner of death.
Police called the death “suspicious,” but believe it is an “isolated incident.” The case remains under investigation by the Canton Police Department, Fulton County Coroner’s Office, Illinois State Police and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
