Travon Walker injury news: Latest update on Jaguars' DE in Week 13

A key Jacksonville Jaguars’ defender was still sidelined during Wednesday’s Week 13 practice as the team prepares for the Tennessee Titans.

Travon Walker was listed on the team’s Wednesday injury report as a non-participant.

Walker suffered a knee injury in Week 11 against the LA Chargers. He did not practice at all last week and was ruled out of this past Sunday’s game in Arizona.

On the year, Walker has generated 25 quarterback pressures and three sacks, according to Pro Football Focus. He’s also logged 18 tackles and has continued to make an impact against the run.

Jaguars’ defensive end depth chart

Without Walker in Arizona, Dennis Gardeck was second in defensive end snaps behind Josh Hines-Allen, while Danny Striggow was third with 26 and BJ Green fourth with 15 snaps.

Dawuan Smoot has continued to be the third member of the defensive tackle rotation based on interior snaps. Emanuel Ogbah’s role was small, with him playing 10 total snaps.

What’s next for Jaguars’ DE Travon Walker?

As far as what Walker’s status could be for Sunday, we will remain in wait-and-see mode as the rest of the week unfolds.
