Whether they win or lose, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ playoff probabilities in Week 13 could take a major swing.
Awaiting the Jaguars on Sunday is another road matchup, this time against the Tennessee Titans. This will be the first of two meetings between the teams this season.
With a win over the Titans, the Jaguars will improve to 8-4 on the season. According to Pro Football Focus, their chances of making the playoffs at that point will be at 83%.
But on the flip side of that, if Jacksonville is unable to take care of business against the 1-10 Titans, they will drop to 7-5 overall, and their playoff chances will sit at 49% with five games to go.
The Jaguars will enter Sunday’s game at 7-4, and they are currently the sixth seed in the AFC playoff picture.
Right behind them, however, are the 7-4 Buffalo Bills, along with the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers at 6-5.
Jacksonville is also very much in the mix for the AFC South title, sitting only one game behind the 8-3 Indianapolis Colts.
