With the dust having settled on Sunday’s action, let’s highlight our initial takeaways from the Jaguars’ performance.

– Brenton Strange had a big day in his return to action, hauling in five receptions for 93 yards.

– It was a mixed bag for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars’ passing game. Lawrence was 18-for-30 passing for 256 yards with three touchdowns, but he threw three interceptoins. Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers were both efficient, and each found the end zone.

– It was another successful day on the ground, with the Jaguars totaling 134 rushing yards at 4.8 yards per attempt.

The Jaguars’ offensive line allowed only 11 pressures, according to PFF’s early tracking data.

– Cam Little was 2-for-2 on field goals and 3-for-3 on extra points, maintaining his strong performance since the bye week.

– Josh Hines-Allen had a big day, logging 10 pressures, according to PFF. Arik Armstead also had six pressures.

– The Jaguars’ pass rush followed up last week’s performance with another strong outing, generating six sacks and 15 quarterback hits.

– Missed tackles were an issue at times. By PFF’s initial count, the Jaguars’ defense had 14 in this game.

– Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a big day, throwing for 317 yards while completing 33-of-49 passes. However, that resulted in only three red zone trips and the Jaguars’ defense held the Cardinals to just one touchdown.

– Jacksonville’s defense also held Arizona to just 55 total rushing yards as a team.

– Third downs were difficult for both offenses. Jacksonville was only 3-for-11 and Arizona just 5-for-16.

– The Cardinals held the ball for almost 11 more minutes than the Jaguars, which resulted in them running 15 more plays. That can often be difficult to overcome.

– The Jaguars were penalized seven times for 60 yards. That’s lower than their season average of over eight penalties per game, but there is still work to be done in this regard.

– Winning the game while losing the turnover battle 4-0 is a rare feat, but the Jaguars found a way.
