The Florida State Seminoles have landed a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Damaad Lewis, who announced the news Sunday night on social media. He is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and is their 29th commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
FSU has been recruiting Lewis since August, when they extended him a scholarship offer. They hosted him on an official visit for their game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Oct. 31, and he is now a Seminole. He also took official visits to see NC State and Nebraska during his recruitment.

Lewis is ranked as the No. 461 overall player and No. 49 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder is also the No. 21 player from North Carolina.
The Seminoles now have five defensive line commits in Earnest Rankins, Franklin Whitley, Wihtlley Cadeau, and Judah Daniels. They also have commitments from three-star edge rushers Chris Carbin and Jalen Anderson.
