The FSU Seminoles are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 5-7 season, and are once again expected to be very active in the transfer portal. There is just one portal this offseason, set to open on Jan. 2 and last until Jan. 16, with windows allowed after that for teams that are in the College Football Playoff or who hire a new head coach.
They had 32 players exit the program last offseason and enter the transfer portal, including 16 players on offense, 16 on defense. They have already added 32 high school signees this offseason and will look to supplement that group with some experienced transfers who will contend for starting spots and key roles on the depth chart.
With them expected to add numerous players through the transfer portal, they need to open up space on the roster for the newcomers. While players graduating or entering the NFL draft will create some space, so will the outgoing transfers, especially if they no longer fit what FSU’s coaching staff wants at their position.
With the portal set to officially open in January, here is an ongoing tracker for all of the Seminoles’ outgoing transfers:
LB Jayden Parrish
Career stats: 3 tackles
Parrish spent two seasons in Tallahassee after signing with them as a three-star recruit in 2024 out of Delray Beach, Florida. He appeared in two games during his time as a Seminole and will have three seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
DL L A Jessie Harrold
Career Stats: None
Harrold was the first member of FSU’s 2025 recruiting class to announce he was transferring. The Tampa native appeared in two games and did not record a stat while redshirting. He will have four seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
OL Mario Nash Jr.
Career Stats: None
Nash was another member of FSU’s 2025 recruiting class who lasted just one season in Tallahassee. The Mississippi native was a longtime target for the Seminoles, who they flipped from Mississippi State late in the recruiting cycle. He did not play in any games and will have four seasons of eligibility at his next school.
DL Tyeland Coleman
Career Stats: 2 tackles, 1.0 sack, 1.0 TFL
Coleman spent just one season at FSU after starting his career at Northwest Mississippi Community College. He played in two games, recording all of his stats in the win over East Texas A&M.
TE Luke Douglas
Career Stats: None
Douglas spent two seasons with the Seminoles after coming to Tallahassee as a preferred walk-on. He appeared in two games in 2025 and will have three seasons of eligibility at his next school.
DL Jamorie Flagg
Career Stats: 2 tackles
Flagg signed with FSU as a three-star prospect out of Miami in their 2024 recruiting class. He redshirted in 2024, playing in one game and not recording any stats. He played in two games in 2025 and will have three seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
RB Jaylin Lucas
Career Stats: 29 carries for 173 yards, 14 receptions for 127 yards
Lucas transferred into FSU ahead of the 2024 season, looking to bring some speed to the running back position and as a kick returner. He suffered a season-ending injury after two seasons and was a rotational player in 2025. He played in 14 games, averaging 7.0 yards per touch and 23.4 yards per return. He has one season of eligibility left.
S Edwin Joseph
Career Stats: 51 tackles, 7.0 TFLs, 4 INTs, 12 PBUs
Joseph spent three seasons in Tallahassee, redshirting in 2023 before playing in all 12 games in 2024 and earning a starting role at safety in 2025. He will have two seasons of eligibility at his next school.
WR Willy Suarez
Career Stats: 1 reception for 5 yards, 2 tackles, 1 FF
Suarez came to FSU as a walk-on and spent two seasons in Tallahassee, redshirting in 2024. He had a career day against Charleston Southern, making two tackles and forcing a fumble. He has two more seasons of eligibility.
DB Christian White
Career Stats: 8 tackles
White spent four seasons with FSU after joining the team as a walk-on in 2022. He has one season of eligibility moving forward.
WR Camdon Frier
Career Stats: None
Frier, an FSU legacy, appeared in four games during the 2025 season and did not record a catch. He missed the 2024 season after suffering an injury before the year and will have three or four years of eligibility at his next stop.
CB Cai Bates
Career Stats: 2 tackles
Bates, a former top recruit, played in 10 games during his two seasons at FSU, with most of his action coming on special teams. He will have three seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
RB Kam Davis
Career Stats: 60 carries for 224 yards and 1 TD, 5 receptions for 67 yards
Davis played in nine games as a true freshman, but just four as a sophomore, and redshirted. He is yet another member of FSU’s 2024 recruiting class who is departing after two seasons in Tallahassee. He will have three seasons of eligibility at his next school.
LB Omar Graham Jr.
Career Stats: 106 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 1.0 sack, 4 PBUs
Graham spent four seasons in Tallahassee and will have one season of eligibility at his next stop. He struggled to consistently execute in FSU’s scheme over the past two seasons, but did have several solid performances during that time.
DL Jaden Jones
Career Stats: 9 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 1 PBU
Jones spent three seasons with the Seminoles after starting his career at a junior college, missing all of the 2024 season with an injury. He has told 247Sports that he will have two seasons of eligibility, likely due to the lost season and his JUCO background, despite being listed as a redshirt senior on FSU’s roster.
TE Randy Pittman Jr.
Career Stats: 23 receptions for 208 and 2 TDs, 7 carries for 37 yards and 3 TDs
Pittman spent just one season in FSU after transferring in from UCF. He was their top tight end and one of the focal points of the passing attack. His departure leaves a void at tight end, with the Seminoles lacking a clear replacement.
DL Jayson Jenkins
Career Stats: 16 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1.0 Sack
Jenkins spent just one season in Tallahassee after transferring in from Tennessee. He was unable to make an impact after being a priority addition for the coaching staff.
QB Jaylen King
Career Stats: 0-1 passing, 2 carries for 6 yards
King redshirted in 2025, the only season he spent in Tallahassee after starting his career at the FCS level. He will have two seasons of eligibility at his next stop, which will be his fourth school.
WR Elijah Moore
Career Stats: 5 receptions for 69 yards
Moore played in 14 games over his two seasons with the Seminoles and will have three seasons of eligibility at his next stop. The former blue-chip recruit was unable to crack the wide receiver rotation.
QB Brock Glenn
Career Stats: 76-175 passing for 895 yards, 6 TDs, 6 INTs, 61 carries for 162 yards, 1 TD
Glenn was thrust into action as a true freshman in 2023, starting the ACC Championship Game and helping the Seminoles win the title. He started a few games in 2024 but backed up Tommy Castellanos once the Seminoles shifted the offense.
DL James Williams
Career Stats: 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3.0 TFLs
Williams was supposed to be FSU’s top pass-rusher after he followed Tony White and Terrance Knighton from Nebraska, but he was never able to get going and eventually lost his starting role. He will have two seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
OL Manasse Itete
Career Stats: 1 appearance
Itete signed with the Seminoles as a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, but played just one snap during his two seasons in Tallahassee. He will have three seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
RB Gavin Sawchuk
Career Stats: 109 carries for 486 yards, 8 TDs, 13 receptions for 121 yards, 1 TD
Sawchuk began the season as FSU’s starting running back and led the running backs in every major category, but was used less as the season progressed.
OL Lucas Simmons
Career Stats: 24 games played
Simmons played in 24 games over his final two seasons with the Seminoles, with most of his action coming on special teams. The former blue-chip recruit will have two seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
DL KJ Sampson
Career Stats: 26 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1 PBU
Sampson spent three years in Tallahassee, playing as a reserve defensive lineman in 2024 and 2025. He will have two seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
OL Tye Hylton
Career Stats: None
Hylton did not see the field in his two seasons with the Seminoles and will have three seasons of his eligibility at his next stop. The Florida native signed with FSU as a three-star prospect in their 2024 recruiting class and did not appear poised for a prominent role in 2026.
P Mac Chiumento
Career Stats: 44.0 yards per punt
Chiumento was FSU’s starting punter for the 2025 season and was named the special teams MVP. The Daytona Beach, Florida, native will have one season of eligibility at his next stop.
DE/TE Amaree Williams
Career Stats: 7 receptions for 122 yards, 3 TDs, 10 tackles, 2.0 TFLs, 1.5 sacks
Amaree Williams, who played both tight end and defensive end at FSU, is entering the portal after two seasons in Tallahassee. He will have two seasons of eligibility at his next stop.
DL Mandrell Desir
Career Stats: 30 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 6.5 sacks, 1 PBU, 1 FF
Mandrell emerged as one of FSU’s top defensive linemen and was seen as one of the most important pieces on the roster moving forward. He received Freshman All-American honors and has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
DL Darryll Desir
Career Stats: 23 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1.0 sacks,
Darryll was not as productive as his twin, but still played in all 12 games for the Seminoles as a key member of the defensive line. He also has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
P/K Brunno Reus
Career Stats: 2-2 extra points
Reus appeared in four games as a true freshman, securing a redshirt, and will have four years of eligibility at his next stop. He would have had a chance to earn a bigger role with punter Mac Chiumento now at Texas.
OL Ja’Elyne Matthews
Career Stats: 0 appearances
Matthews started his career at Rutgers, but transferred to FSU in the spring. He did not appear in any games and will have four seasons of eligibility moving forward.
CB Shamar Arnoux
Career Stats: 27 tackles, 1 PBU
Arnoux played in 11 of FSU’s games, making four starts. He was expected to be in the mix for a starting role, but is now looking for a new school. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
OL Josh Raymond
Career Stats: 2 appearances
Raymond spent just one season with the Seminoles after starting his career with the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Orlando native will have three seasons of eligibility at his next school.
DL Kevin Wynn
Career Stats: 1 tackle, 1 PBU
Wynn was one of the top players in FSU’s 2025 recruiting class, but he is now in the transfer portal after just one season with the Seminoles. He will have four seasons of eligibility at his next school.
