The Southeastern Conference announced the matchups for the 2026 women’s basketball schedule on Tuesday, including the 15 different league peers that the Florida Gators will face next season. The SEC portion of the 2025-26 slate begins on New Year’s Day: Thursday, Jan. 1.
The intraconference schedule consists of a single round robin structure that consists of 14 games played either home or away, with one rotating opponent that will be played both at home and on the road, making for a total of eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually, and this year for Florida, it will be the Auburn Tigers.
The coming campaign marks the 17th season of the 16-game schedule for women’s basketball.
Following the conclusion of the regular-season schedule, the 2026 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held for the ninth time at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The tourney — which includes all 16 teams — begins on Wednesday, March 4, and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, March 8. Times, dates, and television information for the regular-season matchups will be announced at a later date.
