The Orange and Blue took a punch to the gut last weekend at home, where the USF Bulls outlasted Florida in a rock fight, 18-16. Subsequently, Billy Napier and Co. fell out of the major polls and the season already appears to be on the brink just two weeks in.
The Tigers moved up a spot to third in the US LBM Coaches Poll this week following a 23-7 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. However, the real story for LSU so far is the season-opening 17-10 win over the Clemson Tigers on the road.

Last weekend’s loss to USF was demoralizing, leaving far too many questions unanswered about this Florida team. Most concerning was the discipline issues once again rearing their ugly head, and LSU is not a team you can take a lackadaisical approach to.
The Gators did not take the Bulls seriously enough and ended up trampled; they could play their absolute best and it still might not be enough to beat their SEC rival in Week 3.
So what will we see in Death Valley this weekend? Sorry Gator Nation, but I predict a great deal of pain.
