Florida football will be without 12 players in its matchup against Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 22.
However, that mark could grow with wide receiver Vernell Brown III still dealing with a shoulder sprain, along with safety Bryce Thornton, who has a lower leg injury. Both are ruled as “game time decisions,” according to the final SEC availability report.
Brown, who did not go through pregame warmups, leads the team with 33 catches for 473 yards. Thornton also did not participate in pregame warmups, but was in a jersey and sweatpants.
Defensive end George Gumbs Jr. and defensive tackle Michai Boireau were ruled out earlier this week for the matchup. Fortunately for the Gators, UF will return defensive tackle Caleb Banks, whose only appearance this season was against LSU.
