The Florida State Seminoles have been relentless in their pursuit of edge talent in the 2027 cycle over the last few months. One of the top guys at the position, four-star Abraham Sesay, has named them in his top six schools, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The Seminoles will be battling some formidable programs for his commitment. Sesay also named Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina, and Duke on his list.
Sesay is a top-tier prospect. He’s the nation’s No. 72 overall player and the No. 10 edge according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder is also the No. 4 recruit out of Pennsylvania.
Where FSU has positioned itself in the recruiting of Sesay is quite impressive. They didn’t extend an offer to him until last December. Plus, he still hasn’t taken a trip to Tallahassee yet. So, to be a top six school despite this shows how well they’re selling Sesay on the program.
With that being said, it would behoove Florida State to get Sesay on campus soon.
