Baker Mayfield is the undisputed leader of the Bucs offense and one of the key players on the team, regardless of which side of the ball you look at. When he speaks, his teammates listen, they follow his direction, and it allows them to be in a position to succeed week in and week out.
On Wednesday, Mayfield was asked the age-old question: How does someone beat the Eagles?

So far, no one has been able to solve the issues they present. Mayfield has an idea of what it takes, and perhaps it comes from seeing what the Rams did to them in Week 3 for three quarters. He answered the question, saying, “Starting fast [and] executing. As cliche as it is, doing all the little things right. It is a team that lines up and they do what they do, and they do it really well. We have to do the same thing — match that energy — and between their offensive line and defensive line, obviously this game is going to be won in the trenches. That is the way we like it; we trust our big boys, we trust our defensive line and it is a great matchup for those guys as well.”
This game is a prime setup for the Bucs, both as they are built and for how they are playing. They are due for a game where they blow the doors off someone. Is that Philadelphia? If Baker Mayfield’s confidence is any indicator, it is possible.
