PALM BEACH GARDENS — Jupiter’s Brooks Koepka is making a $1 million contribution to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation as part of his requirement for reinstatement to the PGA Tour.
Koepka, 35, returned to the Tour this season after three years in LIV Golf and is playing this week in the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches. The charity, founded by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus in 2004, is the primary charitable recipient of Cognizant.

Koepka is required to make a $5 million charitable contribution as part of the program that allowed him to return to the Tour after joining LIV in 2022.

Koepka is making his eighth start at the event that starts Feb. 26 at PGA National. The nine-time winner on the PGA Tour, including five major championships, has played in two tournaments since his reinstatement, finishing T56 at the Farmers Insurance Open and missing the cut at the Phoenix Open.
