Bay County traffic advisories: Delays, detours and more, Aug. 17-24, 2025

The Florida Department of Transportation has issued a number of traffic advisories for Bay County. Here, according to an agency news release, is what we know:

U.S. 98 construction from west of Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue to east of Louisiana Avenue

Expect alternating lane closures Aug. 17-23.

U.S. 98 widening from Mandy Lane to east of Nautilus Street 

State Road 390 Bridge rehabilitation over Mill Bayou

Expect brief delays near the Mill Bayou Bridge Aug. 17-23 as crews deliver materials.

U.S. 98 (15th Street) resurfacing from east of the 23rd Street Flyover to Jenks Avenue

Night lane closures Aug. 18-24 for sidewalk and signalization activities.

U.S. 231 at Pipeline Road Improvement Project

Southbound drivers will encounter an inside (left) lane closure at the Pipeline Road intersection Aug. 17-18, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

S.R. 392A (Hutchison Boulevard) resurfacing from U.S. 98A to U.S. 98A

Motorists will encounter nighttime lane closures Aug. 17-21 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for concrete operations.
