Airport eats: There's a new food option at RSW to sink your teeth into

With food, glorious food, on everyone’s mind this Thanksgiving week, it seems like good time for Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to announce a new dining option at the expanding Fort Myers airport.

RSW announced on its Facebook page Tuesday (Nov. 25) that Shula Burger has opened in Concourse B, near Gate 3. It’s part of the airports Terminal Expansion Project. According to the post, one of the missions of the project is to offer travelers new and refreshed shopping and dining options.

The terminal expansion project is well underway and includes the edition of a new concourse (E) are part of work being done to align the airport with the needs of a growing Southwest Florida.

Back in July it was announced a new Starbucks opened, also on Concourse B. Previously, in 2024, Fort Myers Brewing Co. and Seaside Mercantile opened.

Shula Burger at RSW: What to know

Shula Burger is the company’s airport and stadiums concept. According to the Shula Burger website, this is the third Shula Burger to open. The other are located at Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The website says: “Shula Burger was born from the legacy of Coach Don Shula, one of America’s most successful sports icons. Since then, we’ve established a legacy of our very own. We created a signature burger blend of Premium Black Angus, Short Rib and Brisket to assure a fresher, juicier burger every time. We’ve grown, and continue to grow, simply because we bring excellence to everything we do.”
