Its catered lunches have also been a fixture in office conference rooms and breakrooms in Jacksonville’s downtown and elsewhere across the city as Tidbits has opened additional locations in Baymeadows (2013) and Mandarin (2019), bringing the sandwich shop’s classic lunch fare to more diners and office workers.

Today, Tidbits expands its reach into Clay County, opening its newest restaurant on Fleming Island, at 2349 Village Square Parkway, Suite 125, across from Baptist Medical Center Clay. Mr. Chubby’s Wings also operates in the retail center.

Unlike Tidbits’ other locations — which are open for lunch only, closing at 2:30 p.m. — the Fleming Island location will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering nearby residents and hospital workers and visitors an early dinner option, according to the restaurant’s website. On Saturdays, Tidbits will be open for lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., following in the footsteps of its Baymeadows and Mandarin locations.

In addition to its signature Chicken Salad Pita served with potato salad, other Tidbits favorites include:

Other Tidbits locations include the original, at 1076 Hendricks Ave.; 8535 Baymeadows Road; and 12276 San Jose Blvd., #709.
