As we continue to take a look back at the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 6 performance against the Seahawks, let’s highlight some noteworthy snap count figures.
For the most part, when it comes to playing time, there aren’t many huge surprises, but with new offensive and defensive schemes being implemented, especially in the first half of the season, there are a few things we can glean from the snap count figures.

With help from PFF, here are a few quick notes from the Jaguars’ snap count totals from Week 6.
LeQuint Allen and Bhayshul Tuten’s playing time
Allen would out-snap Tuten, 18 to 11. This was likely a product of the Jaguars trailing and going more pass-heavy, which are situations where Allen has often been utilized.
What about Travis Hunter?
Hunter would play 58 of the Jaguars’ 74 offensive snaps. On defense, he played 22 snaps, with Montaric Brown playing 46 snaps. This was a game where the Jaguars used more three-linebacker looks.
Devin Lloyd’s playing time
Lloyd would play only 15 snaps. Afterward, Liam Coen said he was dealing with tightness. This resulted in Ventrell Miller stepping in for 29 snaps at middle linebacker.
Travon Walker was eased back in
In his first game back since having wrist surgery, the Jaguars had Walker on a snap count. He would play just 16 snaps, coming on the field during more obvious passing situations, where he could get after the quarterback.
Playing time at tight end
In the Jaguars’ first game without Brenton Strange, Hunter Long played 59 snaps while Johnny Mundt played 29. Not unlike the running back position, this playing time split was likely a product of the Jaguars throwing the ball, which is when we’ve often seen Long this season.
