The mother of music producer Benny Blanco was reportedly the victim of a Studio City break in on Monday, Nov. 24.
NBC News Los Angeles, citing “law enforcement sources,” reported that the victim was Blanco’s mother. KTLA reported that, based on property records, the home belongs to the parents of Blanco. The Desert Sun has reached out to Blanco’s representatives seeking confirmation.
Los Angeles Police Department Officer Charles Miller could not provide the name of the victim, the exact address or confirm whether there was any connection to Blanco.
Miller told The Desert Sun that a break in occurred in the 4100 block of Shadyglade Avenue in Studio City after 9:15 p.m. on Monday.
Officers responded to a burglary call in which the victim was inside the residence. Two male suspects ransacked the residence and took property before they fled, according to Miller.
Miller did not provide details about how many people were home at the time of the incident. There were no reported injuries.
