The Golden State Warriors suffered a tough defeat on Friday, Nov. 21, losing to the Portland Trail Blazers, 127-123, largely due to avoidable defensive lapses. The loss was Golden State’s ninth of the season, leaving the franchise at .500 over 19 games and eighth in the Western Conference. In fairness, Steve Kerr’s team has navigated a gruelling start to the season, which has included 12 road games and five back-to-backs.
Despite the loss, Stephen Curry had an elite-level night when shooting the ball. The veteran superstar went 14-of-23 from the field, including 9-of-17 from deep, to end the night with a game-high 38 points. Curry also tacked on two rebounds and four assists.
Curry has been putting up numbers like those for most of his career. As such, we’ve become somewhat desensitized to his on-court greatness. However, the Warriors’ YouTube channel had no intention of letting us forget his high-scoring night in a hurry, as they posted his full highlights from the Blazers game to the social platform.
