The Los Angeles Rams started their Week 13 prep on Wednesday with their first practice ahead of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. They welcomed back Tutu Atwell and Ahkello Witherspoon to the field after both spent time on injured reserve.
Sean McVay told reporters Wednesday that he expects them to play against Carolina this weekend after getting in a full week of practice. Two other starters were non-participants to open the week, however. Byron Young missed practice with a knee injury but McVay still expects him to play.
Kamren Kinchens also sat out on Wednesday with a shoulder injury; his status will be worth monitoring throughout the week.
Xavier Smith was a full participant as he recovers from a concussion suffered in Week 11, while Konata Mumpfield was limited with a calf injury.
For the Panthers, Jaycee Horn was a non-participant due to a concussion suffered last week. Christian Rozeboom missed practice with hip and hamstring injuries, too.
Rams vs. Panthers injury report
The Panthers only held a walkthrough on Wednesday but will ramp up the activity in the coming days before kickoff on Sunday.
