The Golden State Warriors will be without their veteran center for the upcoming stretch of games on the calendar. On Sunday, Steve Kerr told members of the media that Al Horford is set to miss time with a right hamstring strain. The 19-year veteran was later ruled out for at least the next three games with right sciatic nerve irritation.
With Horford set to miss at least a week, the Warriors will be shorthanded in the frontcourt against the Utah Jazz on Monday, the Houston Rockets on Wednesday in the NBA Cup and the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.

Horford played 18 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Trail Blazers, scoring seven points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field while grabbing six boards and dishing out three assists in Golden State’s 127-123 loss.
Horford is averaging 5.8 points on 34.4% shooting from the field and 32% shooting from beyond the arc with 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 21.8 minutes per contest.
Without Horford, the Warriors could lean on young big men Quinten Post and Trayce Jackson-Davis in the frontcourt.
