On Saturday, the USC football team travels to Champaign for a top 25 showdown with Illinois. After four victories over relatively overmatched teams to start the season, this will mark the Trojans’ first opportunity in 2025 against a ranked opponent.
The game is set to kick off at 9:00 a.m. Pacific time/11:00 a.m. local time and air on Fox as part of the network’s “Big Noon Saturday” package. Earlier this week, Fox announced that its Big Noon Kickoff pregame show will also be traveling to Champaign to broadcast live prior to the matchup between the Trojans and the Illini.
The show will feature a very familiar face to USC fans. The Big Noon Kickoff team includes USC Heisman Trophy quarterback Matt Leinart, who led the Trojans to back-to-back national championships in the early 2000s. Leinart will be joined by host Rob Stone, former Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, former Alabama running back Mark Ingram II, and three-time national champion head coach Urban Meyer.
Big Noon Kickoff live from Champaign will air Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time on Fox. USC fans better set their alarms for what figures to be an intense morning of football.
