Two athletes are being recognized for their outstanding achievements on the field and court.
This week, both a Foothill and an Enterprise athlete are being highlighted. It’s time to meet the two Shasta Family YMCA Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments over the past week.
Carson Anderson, Foothill
Sport: Football
School: Foothill
Class: Senior
Team Contributions: Foothill wide receiver Carson Anderson has been one of the most unstoppable wideouts in the Northern Section this season. The 6-foot-2 receiver has reeled in 40 catches for 709 yards and 10 touchdowns this season and is nearly impossible to tackle after the catch. In the Cougars’ two playoff wins over Las Plumas and Pleasant Valley, Anderson recorded eight catches for 202 yards and three touchdowns. The senior is a crucial piece of the Foothill offense, and he’ll be leading the charge when the Cougars go down to Chico for the Division II NSCIF championship on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Carly Graham, Enterprise
Sport: Volleyball and Basketball
School: Enterprise
Class: Junior
Team Contributions: Enterprise junior Carly Graham established herself as one of the premier Enterprise athletes after a strong sophomore year in volleyball, basketball and softball in 2024-25. Graham carried that success into an impressive first semester of her junior year. Last week, Graham was named as an honorable mention on the All-Eastern Athletic League volleyball team following a strong individual season in which she led the team as a captain. While the volleyball season is over, Graham kicked off the basketball season with 11 points in a 38-33 win over U-Prep on Monday, Nov. 24. It’s already been a busy semester of athletics and academics for Graham, and she’s just getting started.
