49ers officially downgrade edge rusher to OUT vs. Panthers on MNF

The San Francisco 49ers will meet the Carolina Panthers on Monday night at Levi’s Stadium for a Week 12 meeting between two teams looking to move up in their division.

After ruling out linebacker Tatum Bethune (ankle) and kicker Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) for the contest on Saturday, the 49ers have downgraded defensive end Robert Beal Jr. (concussion) out as well.

San Francisco’s group of edge rushers is already thin, with Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams both out for the year and Yetur Gross-Matos on injured reserve. That leaves the 49ers with Bryce Huff, Sam Okuayinonu, Keion White and Clelin Ferrell on the active roster.
