“Livingston In Photos,” a series shot by reporter Makayla Coffee, highlights the extra-ordinary happenings of your neighbors.
GENOA TWP. — Livingston County pet owners and their furry friends (and anyone else who’d like to meet them) have a new indoor spot to gather with other pups, sip coffee and watch the fun unfold.
For this week’s Livingston in Photos, I snapped pictures at Paw Grounds, a new year-round indoor dog park and cafe at 4060 E. Grand River Ave. in Genoa Township.
During my visit, I explored with the help of owner Stacie Phillips and snapped photos as three dogs — Romeo, Ella and Rose — played in the space.
The location stretches about 5,100 square feet, with a small, turfed outdoor courtyard. Pups can roam unleashed inside, while their owners and other visitors enjoy cafe items in designated areas.
The indoor space is divided into areas for small dogs, large dogs and dogs who need a more relaxing experience. For more information, visit thepawgrounds.com.
