After missing last week’s game against Youngstown State, one Michigan State football offensive lineman is expected to be available for Michigan State’s Saturday night showdown against USC. After playing in the first game, Asthon Lepo got banged up, but offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren told the media on Tuesday that he is expecting that Lepo will be ready to go for the USC game.
Lepo was a starting tackle last year for the Spartans, and even though he didn’t enter the season as the starter, currently behind Conner Moore on the depth chart, he had been used as a rotational lineman in week one against Western Michigan. With Big Ten play about to start against USC, the Spartans will need all the bodies they can get on the offensive line.
