Learn about Ernest Hemingway’s connection to Northern Michigan with a Little Traverse Historical Society program on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Former Hemingway Society president Mike Federspiel will lead the 7 p.m. history program, called ”Young Hemingway in Northern Michigan.” Federspiel will share images of Hemingway and the local area to illustrate his talk, based on his book “Picturing Hemingway’s Michigan,” which was recently released in paperback. Copies will be available for purchase at the event.
The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will follow Federspiel’s presentation.
