PORT HURON TWP., MI — Port Huron Township’s new 7 Brew is officially serving customers, with free drinks and several events planned ahead of its grand opening.
The drive-thru beverage stand at 815 24th St. opened to the public Aug. 14 for the start of its Friends & Family weekend. Despite the name, the promotion is open to everyone, 7 Brew’s public relations representative Anne Smith confirmed.

Free small drinks are limited to one per customer during the promotional hours.
Swag Day
The Port Huron Township stand was assembled on-site from prefabricated sections in May and is expected to employ more than 50 people. The stand is still hiring.
Since the week of Aug. 3, 7 Brew employees have also been delivering free drinks to local businesses as part of the company’s pre-opening “drink drop” promotion.
The location is owned by franchisees Salem Najjar and Gaurav Aggarwal through Brewtopia, a 7 Brew franchise group expanding across Michigan and New York.
Najjar, who is based in Novi, serves as Brewtopia’s founder and chief executive officer, while Aggarwal, of the greater Cleveland area, serves as founder and chief operating officer.
The partners bring decades of quick-service restaurant franchising experience and, as of publication, operate nine other 7 Brew locations, including five in Michigan and four in New York, according to Brewtopia’s website.
The Port Huron Township location is drive-thru focused and includes a walk-up window but no indoor seating.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 20. During the event, 7 Brew will present a $1,000 donation to Hunter Hospitality House.
