Detroit — The Pistons released their full 2026-27 schedule Thursday.
The Pistons will open the season on national television at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, when they host the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena as part of a season-opening tripleheader to be broadcast on NBC.
The Pistons will have at least 19 regular-season games on national TV, with eight on NBC or Peacock. Tigers broadcast Jason Benetti will be among the play-by-play men calling NBC’s NBA games during 2026-27, after switching to the network when he took the “Sunday Night Baseball” job in 2026.
Most Pistons games will be broadcast locally on over-the-air (free) TV, on Channel 20 in Detroit (WYMD).
The Pistons will kick off the preseason Oct. 5 against the Phoenix Suns at LCA.
