Port Sanilac, MI (May 7th) – The Sanilac County Historical Society invites you to step into spring with elegance and charm at a special Spring Tea on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 12 noon, hosted at the beautiful and storied Loop Mansion, located within the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum.
Guests will be treated to a refined and delicious afternoon featuring a carefully curated menu of classic tea fare. Highlights include:
● Fresh-baked Scones with Devonshire cream and raspberry preserves
● Refreshing Southern Ambrosia Salad
● An assortment of Tea Sandwiches, including cucumber and chicken salad varieties
● Warm Canapés, Sausage Rolls, and Spinach Pie Roll-Ups
● A trio of decadent desserts: Snickerdoodle Muffins, Lemon Blossoms, and a rich Strawberry Trifle
Attendees will also enjoy a complimentary entry into a drawing for a stunning cream and black 1920s-style felted
wool cloche hat, perfect for vintage fashion enthusiasts.
Your gracious hostesses for the afternoon will be Marie McCarthy and Susan Broadwell, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable and relaxing experience in one of the village’s most iconic homes.
Tickets are $45 per person and must be reserved and paid for in advance. Space is limited to just 40 guests, so early reservations are highly encouraged.
