Jaime Mears, US Army receives Backpack from Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Veterans Committee

Jaime Mears, US Army happily accepts one of the (50) Camo colored canvas backpacks filled with clothing items, toiletries, health and hygiene products, winter apparel, healthy snacks, gift cards for food, referrals for emergency services, and other cold weather gear.

The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Veterans Committee donated the backpacks to local Veterans using funds received from the Grand Lodge ENVSC 2024 Freedom Grant submitted by Lodge 343 Veterans Chair, Scott R. Harris PER, ENVSC VAVS Rep and presented to Lodge 343. Thank you to Scott R. Harris, Gary A. Osburn, Penny J. Osburn, Monica G. Franks, Penny Mertz, and Donna Hazelwood for your support and assistance in helping organize, load the backpacks, and deliver to the St. Clair & Sanilac County Department of Veterans Affairs.
