(Reuters) -CSX on Wednesday named Kevin Boone as finance chief, succeeding Sean Pelkey, who has departed the railroad operator after about three years in the role.
Boone joined CSX in 2017 and held several key leadership roles, with the most recent being chief commercial officer (CCO).
He previously served in the role on an interim basis from 2019 until Pelkey’s appointment in 2022. During this period, the company navigated significant supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company also appointed Maryclare Kenney as CCO. Kenney has been a leader in CSX’s commercial operations for nearly 14 years, the company said.
