Canada July factory sales most likely down 0.2% – Statscan flash estimate

Aug 24 (Reuters) – Canadian factory sales most likely fell 0.2% in July from June, largely driven by lower sales in the chemical and fabricated metal product subsectors, Statistics Canada said in a flash estimate on Monday.

The estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 69.8%. The average weighted response rate for the survey over the previous 12 months has been 92.5%.
