By The Sanilac County Historical Society

Port Sanilac, MI (June 3rd) – Hear the historical impact from the birth of rock in the early 50s from a social, cultural, political & musical point of view. This lecture’s perspective will take us from ‘54 to ‘67, ending with the summer of love including mention of the Beatles & Jimi Hendrix.

Jason Hundey has been a high school history teacher for Armada Area School District for nearly two decades. He also teaches a humanities pop culture course at Ferris State University. He has been on over 2 dozen world tour trips through EF Education Tours and provides a wide perspective in the scope of his lectures. Come join us inside the Museum Church for an engaging presentation that will prompt nostalgia for many in attendance and discovery of cultural significance for others.
