Ingredients
- 1 cup cowpeas
- 1/4 pound bacon
- 1 cup rice
- 1 large onion
- salt, as needed
- pepper, as needed
Directions
- Cook the peas and rice separately.
- Cook the onion in the bacon fat.
- Add rice and peas and cook until dry.
- Add seasoning.
