Jill has been with Camp Cavell since 1984, she has seen many changes over her 37 years and continues to make Camp Cavell a destination for all to enjoy and experience. Jill discusses the variety of programs and events Camp Cavell offers, the history of the camp, and how the camp coped with the impact of Covid-19.
Camp Cavell has been located in Lexington, Michigan since 1927. Offering the ultimate camp experience, Camp Cavell has a number of outdoor activities such as Swimming in beautiful Lake Huron, Kayaking, Tree Climbing, Horseback Riding, and more.
Camp Cavell is a three-season camp for children of all ages, but also offers women and senior getaways, family events, and birthday party gatherings. Jill also speaks about Camp Cavell’s Day Camp, where a bus travels from the Marysville Meijer to the Fort Gratiot Meijer and shuttles the kids participating in day camp to Camp Cavell every day to enjoy all the wonderful activities.
