Add another watchlist to Jordan Hall’s preseason honors.
Michigan State’s star linebacker and team leader has been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list. The Chuck Bednarik Award is presented annually by the Maxwell Football Club to the outstanding defensive player in college football.
This is the third preseason watch list that Hall has been named to this year. He was also previously named to the watch lists for the Butkus Award (nation’s top linebacker) and Wuerffel Trophy (premier award for community service in college football).
Hall is entering his fourth season with the Spartans, looking to have his best season yet. Hall was voted a team captain as a junior in 2025 and was also an honorable mention All-Big Ten pick last season.
