Eric Wallace
Eric Wallace is deputy sports editor at The Palm Beach Post, where he oversees high school sports coverage across Palm Beach County. An Auburn University graduate, Wallace has covered Florida high school sports for more than a decade and previously worked at the Pensacola News Journal. In addition to leading prep coverage, he contributes to The Post’s reporting on the Miami Dolphins, professional golf and the 2026 World Cup, bringing experience across every level of sports journalism.
Alex Peterman
Alex Peterman covers high school sports for The Palm Beach Post, reporting on football, basketball and the athletes and teams that shape Palm Beach County’s sports landscape. A West Palm Beach native and graduate of Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Peterman attended the University of Florida before returning home to tell the stories of the community that helped inspire his love of sports.
Patrick Bernadeau
Patrick Bernadeau is the high school sports reporter for Treasure Coast Newspapers, where he covers athletes, teams and communities throughout Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Bernadeau previously worked at the Pensacola News Journal and newspapers in North Dakota and Minnesota before returning to the Treasure Coast in 2024. Through the USA TODAY Network, he also contributes to The Palm Beach Post’s coverage.
Greg Lovett
Greg Lovett is an award-winning Palm Beach Post photographer whose images have chronicled Palm Beach County sports and communities for decades. Since joining The Post in 1989, he has captured some of the area’s biggest high school sports moments, from championship celebrations to unforgettable Friday night action. His visual storytelling helps showcase the athletes, coaches and fans who make local sports special.

Thomas Cordy is an award-winning visual journalist for The Palm Beach Post who produces photography, video and audio storytelling. Chet Peterman
Chet Peterman is a freelance photographer who helps bring Palm Beach County high school sports to life through his images. From Friday night football under the lights to championship events and less prominent sports, Peterman captures the moments that matter to student-athletes, coaches and families. His work for The Palm Beach Post highlights both the excitement of competition and the stories that connect local communities through sports.
Rick Robb
Rick Robb is a freelance reporter covering high school sports for The Palm Beach Post. A veteran journalist, Robb has worked for The New York Times, The Palm Beach Post, the South Florida Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald. In addition to his reporting experience, he is a local baseball umpire whose firsthand knowledge of the game and deep connections throughout Palm Beach County bring valuable insight to the Post’s baseball coverage.
Marc Berman

Jeff Romance
Jeff Romance is a freelance photographer whose award-winning images have documented South Florida sports for more than 25 years. From major professional and collegiate events to local high school championships, his work captures the emotion, intensity and memorable moments that define athletic competition. Outside of photography, Romance is a teacher and golf coach at Deerfield Beach High School, giving him a firsthand appreciation for the dedication and achievement of student-athletes.
Joe Stevenson
Joe Stevenson is a freelance reporter for The Palm Beach Post with decades of experience covering sports at every level. Before contributing to The Post’s high school coverage, Stevenson spent years reporting for the Daily Herald in the Chicago area, where he covered major professional teams including the Bears and Cubs.
