Lake Mary Little League hopes for a repeat of their first meeting with Snohomish, Washington, at the 2026 Little League Softball World Series. If they don’t pick up another win today, their tournament run will be over.
The Florida girls opened their stay in Greenville, North Carolina, with a 14-0 run-rule victory over Washington. Another 15-0 win over Italy had them looking like world-beaters, but they were turned back by Clayton, North Carolina, with a 5-2 loss on Thursday, Aug. 6. One more loss will eliminate them from the LLSWS; a win earns them a rematch with North Carolina in the semifinals.
