This summer, the hype has started to build for Michigan State basketball freshman Jasiah Jervis, and it might just explode after Thursday night. In the final of the Moneyball Pro-Am, Jervis hit a deep 3 with 7-foot-2 center Anton Bonke in his face. It was a game-winning shot for Team Faygo.
The win moved Team Faygo into the final against LAFCU (Jeremy Fears Jr. and Ethan Taylor), where they won the Moneyball title. The shot, along with a Moneyball title under his belt, is going to increase the hype train for Jervis, and MSU fans have every right to get excited. Jervis was a top-50 player in this class and comes in with real NBA potential thanks to his size and shot-making ability. Jervis was accompanied by Cam Ward on the title-winning Team Faygo.
