Have you tried the new top-floor restaurant in downtown Brighton?

“Livingston In Photos,” a series shot by reporter Makayla Coffee, highlights the extra-ordinary happenings of your neighbors.

BRIGHTON — Elevated dining, drinks and rooftop views can be found at one of the newest restaurants in downtown Brighton.

Kasi opened at 265 W. Main St. (Suite 300) on April 9, and has completely taken over the top floor of the new Allor on Main. The restaurant features a rooftop view that overlooks the city’s downtown and Mill Pond.

For this week’s Livingston in Photos, I decided to visit the restaurant. I found a whole floor buzzing with life, as groups of friends chatted over cocktails and meals.

The restaurant has seating for roughly 230 people and includes a bar, couches, a separate private dining area, outside rooftop dining and indoor seating.

Andrew Kruczynski, the restaurant’s owner, said he envisioned an elevated option that serves cuisine from cultures from all over the world.

The menu is meant to be “eclectic,” he said, with items like lobster bisque, kimchi fried rice, halibut, steaks and more. In the future, he plans to add vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Brighton residents Grace Burns and Trevor Sauve said the restaurant has quickly become one of their go-to places to sit back, relax and enjoy a cocktail and a meal. They especially love the restaurant’s espresso martinis.

Kruczynski also owns Elite Golf of Brighton, located on the floor just below the restaurant, with his brother Matthew. The simulator business offers four bays, golf lessons, an interactive putting green and a dedicated bar.

The restaurant’s current hours are 3-10 p.m. Tuesdays-Wednesdays, 3-11 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 3-9 p.m. Sundays, with brunch 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays.
