While the Michigan State hockey season has been over for a long time, the school year has only recently seen it’s final days come to an end. With the conclusion of the academic year, and grades being finalized, a new round of awards have been given out to athletes.
The College Sports Communicators have announced their Academic All-District selections and a trio of Spartans have made the cut.
Senior Matt Basgall was honored for the third time in his career, while juniors Trey Augustine and Tommi Mannisto were honored for the second time in the careers.
Basgall and Augustine will now advance to the Academic All-America ballot where they’ll look to repeat as Academic All-Americans.
