Michigan State is in a bit of disorder, and it is bleeding into its athletic programs and being felt by the fanbase. After turmoil between top administrators in East Lansing and the Board of Trustees, President Kevin Guskiewicz and AD J Batt both left their posts within the university.
With the administration changes at Michigan State, it has caused a bit of a fuss around Spartan Nation, and for good reason. First, head basketball coach and school legend Tom Izzo spoke on the problems within the university. Now, head football coach Pat Fitzgerald has spoken, giving his reaction to the departure of both Guskiewicz and Batt.
