The Howell Carnegie District Library will host a week of special events to celebrate the semiquincentennial of the United States.
The festivities at 314 W. Grand River Ave. are slated for June 15-20, made possible by a $10,000 donation from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
The lineup includes offerings for the whole family, according to head of youth services Janice Heilman.
