Tigers, Reds have hit A LOT of home runs. Watch all of them here

During this weekend’s Tigers-Reds series in Cincinnati, a Home Run Derby has broken out.

Through two games at Great American Ball Park — both wins by the Reds, 9-8 on Friday and 9-2 on Saturday — the teams have combined for 14 home runs. That’s already the most in a three-game series in Major League Baseball this season, and there’s still one game to go in Cincy, Sunday afternoon’s series finale.

Ten players have combined for the home-run haul. Three players have hit more than one, including red-hot Tiger Spencer Torkelson. The Reds have hit eight of the homers, and the Tigers have hit six.

Great American Ball Park is traditionally one of the most homer-friendly stadiums in MLB.

Detroit’s Riley Greene got the home-run party started Friday night:

Then it was Detroit’s Javier Báez’s turn, on 3-0 no less:

Cincinnati’s Matt McLain then got in on the fun, with his first homer of the year:

Enter Cincinnati’s Nathaniel Lowe:

Then it was McLain, again:

Detroit’s Spencer Torkelson stayed hot:

Detroit’s Kerry Carpenter put his team ahead (for a moment):

Then it Lowe, again, with the walk-off winner:

Detroit’s Kevin McGonigle got things going from jump Saturday, with his second career homer:

Cincinnati’s Sal Stewart, like McGonigle a rookie-of-the-year candidate, answered right back:

Then it was Lowe, again:

Cincinnati’s Elly De La Cruz, naturally, didn’t want to be left out:

Torkelson, for the fourth straight game:

And No. 14 was delivered by Cincinnati’s TJ Friedl:

The Tigers-Reds series concludes Sunday, with first pitch set for 1:40 p.m. Right-hander Keider Montero (1-2, 3.68) starts for the Tigers, and right-hander Rhett Lowder (3-1, 3.10) starts for the Reds. Montero hasn’t allowed a homer this season, and Lowder has given up one home run.
