Jordan Travis, FSU QB great, takes on role with Seminole Boosters

Former Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jordan Travis has joined the Seminole Boosters staff, where he will help lead fundraising efforts for a newly launched organization aimed at strengthening connections across the Seminole community.

The Boosters announced Wednesday that Travis will play a key role with Seminole United, a new platform designed to engage FSU fans and alumni through exclusive access, storytelling and shared experiences.

Travis will help shape the organization’s brand and content strategy, including its voice and original programming.

“Known for his leadership on and off the field, Jordan brings a genuine connection to alumni and fans and a deep passion for what it means to be a Nole,” the organization said in a statement. “That makes him a natural fit as Seminole United comes to life.”

Travis started 38 of 46 games during his Florida State career from 2019-23 and led the Seminoles to a 19-game winning streak across the 2022 and 2023 seasons. His college career was cut short by a leg injury suffered against North Alabama in FSU’s second-to-last game of the 2023 season.

He finished his career with 8,643 passing yards and 65 touchdowns, completing 633 passes in 46 games. Travis also rushed for 1,910 yards and 31 touchdowns, including a career-long run of 88 yards.

The New York Jets selected Travis in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but he never appeared in a regular-season game. He later returned to Florida State as a brand ambassador with The Battle’s End, the university’s NIL collective.

Travis and his brother, former Toronto Blue Jays infielder Devin Travis, also co-host the podcast Travis Takes Two, which focuses on sports, life and their shared experiences as professional athletes.
